Remember me? I’m so sorry that I’ve been pretty nonexistent on the blog lately but, I have a good reason! I’ve been feeling a tad bit blah and insanely tired keeping up with a busy toddler and working on growing this baby in my belly! That’s right! In case you haven’t heard, Baby #2 is due to arrive in early December. We are completely thrilled and can’t wait to meet the newest member of our little family. Charlee is beyond excited about becoming a big sister and we know she will be the best!
I wanted to do a fun little questionnaire each week to keep you guys updated with pregnancy ongoings and for me to keep track of things as well. I’m sitting at the OB, smack dab in the middle of my 3-hour glucose test (what fun!) so I figured now was a good time to get things rolling!
How far along? 9 weeks 5 days
Total weight gain/loss: Hovering right around the same weight
Maternity clothes? No
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Can’t get enough! Unfortunately, having pretty vivid dreams and waking a lot at night
Best moment this week: Seeing our little teddy graham at our first ultrasound
Have you told family and friends: We just announced a couple days ago 🙂
Movement: A bit early for that – but can’t wait!
Food cravings: Carbs – ALL THE CARBS!! Egg white sandwiches on english muffins, potato chips, ice water, pasta, pizza, soup (Y’all! I lost 30lbs since February and haven’t been eating this garbage – make these cravings stop!!)
Anything making you queasy or sick: Sweet smells, food smells….ALL smells. I made my poor husband change his cologne, I had to buy new body wash and body spray and I had to remove all of the smelly plugins throughout our house. Chicken, bananas and walking through the grocery store also make me feel gross.
Have you started to show yet: Not yet
Gender prediction: I’m thinking boy! Hoping for a boy but we will totally be happy either way, of course. Charlee is wanting a baby sister so we’ll see!
Labor Signs: No, no, no.
Belly Button in or out? My belly button is weird anyway but it’s in.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Haha, I’m glad my husband isn’t answering this question! I’m going to go with a nice 50/50 split 😉
Weekly Wisdom: Learn to take it easy and RELAX.
Milestones: 1st ultrasound and announcing our pregnancy!
That’s it for now guys! I hope to be back on track with posting regularly and I think these weekly posts will help me get back into the groove.
I hope you all are doing fabulously!
