Local Spotlight: Breathe Easy Photography

When I found out we were having a baby girl, I couldn’t wait to go out and purchase the pinkest, most ruffled, bow-splattered outfits I could find! I also envisioned having our home filled with photos of our precious baby, dolled up in ribbons and pearls, smiling ever so sweetly at the camera with her silly, gummy smile and big chubby cheeks. I finally got my wish, ya’ll!

I can’t get over these photos! Breathe Easy Photography is absolutely wonderful! My husband found Victoria when we got home from the hospital and were searching for a local photographer to take Charlee’s newborn photos.  We decided to go with her after seeing her work and appreciating her flexibility.  For the newborn shoot, Charlee and I went to Victoria’s home where she had an awesome studio set up. She offered different backdrops, props and outfits, all while making sure mama and baby were completely comfortable (she even brought me a snack during the shoot, which happened to run a bit long as Charlee was 11 days old and not completely cooperative). I left feeling so pleased with her professionalism but nervous in my baby’s “modeling” career. I was hoping for some good photos showcasing my beautiful baby girl!

Obviously, the photos did not disappoint.  I remember crying as I went through them because A.) I was already obsessed and in love with Charlee and B.) I was so excited that the photos turned out so well. We knew that we had found our go-to photographer.

We had plans of doing 6 month and later 12 month photos to highlight Charlee’s first year; to see how much she grows and changes. We contacted Victoria and asked if she could come to our home for the 6 month session and she happily obliged.  We live in a converted textile mill that was built in the late 1800’s; we have exposed brick walls, huge windows and the original maple floors – a perfect location for photos! We also planned on doing some Christmas-y type photos to later be used for Christmas cards.

I know I’m biased but you have to admit…that smile melts your heart a bit, doesn’t it? It’s amazing how Charlee has changed!

As you can see, I highly recommend Breathe Easy Photography – Victoria is awesome! I can’t wait (well yes I can, my baby is growing too quickly!) until Charlee’s 12 month session.
