I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I had a great day spent with family and tons of delicious food; there was turkey, stuffing, spinach casserole, roasted broccoli, mashed potatoes and gravy…I’m hungry.
Something that’s remained consistent throughout the last 3 Thanksgiving’s is Charlee’s use of Tommee Tippee mealtime products. We actually use them on a daily basis and have done so since she was around 6 months old and first introduced to solids and purees. I know I’ve posted a lot about our favorite straw cups but I wanted to share a little about their bowls, plates, mats and cutlery.
My favorite plates ever are the Explora Section Plates which are BPA free, dishwasher, microwave and sterilizer safe. They keep food separated (huge deal for Charlee) and I like that the plate is deep, with higher sides so things like peas, cereal and yogurt are easy to scoop. They also work with the Tommee Tippee Easi-Mat which helps keep plates and bowls from becoming flying saucers!
The Easi-Mat is a BPA free silicone mat that “sticks” to flat surfaces and “locks” your child’s bowl or plate into place. Just like their plates and bowls, the mat is dishwasher, sterilizer and microwave safe, and easily wipes clean. Throwing of dishes isn’t so much of an issue now but Charlee was once well known for her food flipping skills. Thank goodness those days are over! Although, the dogs probably miss the endless buffet of food that landed on the floor during mealtimes.
Now I know I’ve mentioned Charlee using all of these wonderful products but I can’t lie…I’ve been known to eat ice cream out of her Easy Scoop Bowls and I like using her little spoons for yogurt. I’m an oddball, okay?
But I’ll never be as odd as this guy eating his pumpkin pie… 😉
