I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I sure did, even with Jonas paying us a visit. 😉
To all my East Coast friends experiencing Jonas, I hope that you are keeping warm and staying safe! Here in Raleigh, NC, we didn’t get as much snow as I had hoped but, we got enough ice/flurries to go sledding. We are lucky to live very, very close to a couple of Charlee’s little buddies who are all within about a month and a half of each other. Toddlers + giant cookie sheets + ice covered hills = a ton of fun.
The parents joined in on the fun and I think everyone can agree that we had a blast and shared many laughs. My husband, in particular, enjoyed acting as a child but then reality smacked him in the face when he woke up this morning with achy muscles and bruises, haha! I can’t lie, I’m pretty sore as well; walking up and down the hills and chasing after a toddler is a pretty good workout I suppose!
As much fun as we had, I’m looking forward to the sunshine and warmer temps headed our way within the next few days. I don’t know if I can handle much more of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, homemade playdough, stickers all over the house and eating like complete garbage (anyone else eat a ton of snacks and junk food while snowed in?).
I hope your weekend was wonderful and you all are staying warm, safe and happy!
